Why no "famous" piano player has ever recorded Erik Satie pieces or even made a Satie album? Or have I missed something?

Exactly 25 years ago I started with the first edition of KLAUS SCHULZE THE WORKS, the complete and detailed discography (and more). This very first edition had 36 pages. Meanwhile it has 260 pages. Here's a pic of the first issue from March '87 and and the recent in March 2012:

German Amazon offers it already for a high price but I'm sure it will go down until release, which is announced for the end of April. Because the dealer shows only the front of the 3-CD set, I reveal here the back side with the track listing. The titles are all from the years 1992/'93 and were offered first on CD 1, 2 and 4 in my 10-CD set SILVER EDITION as well as in my 50-CD set THE ULTIMATE EDITION.

Gibt es eigentlich auch Literatur- und ähnliche Preise, die nicht "renommiert" sind? ...frag' ich mal die unbedarften Nachrichten-Formulierer und -Vorleser im Kulturradio, Deutschlandradio Kultur und Deutschlandfunk. Außerdem... nunja... ist da dieser kleine Vierzeiler:

Ich hatte das Label vorab über seinen fatalen Irrtum aufgeklärt und nett empfohlen: "Also schnell weg mit dem Plan der Veröffentlichung in dieser Form, ...ehe Presse & Fans über MiG herfallen."
