Two month ago, on a sunny September day, we had another one of our nice long walks through Berlin, with an old Berlin map in my hands ("Berlin in der Tasche" from 1925).
I was surprised to discover a memorial for Friedemann Bach, in a small park, which was a former cementary. As a native Berliner, I hadn't knew before that he was buried here and that there is now this stele, two meters high.

Next monday (22 November) we celebrate Friedemann Bach's 300th birthday.

Klaus Schulze's "Friedemann Bach" dedication is on his classic album "X". I suppose that every KS aficionado owns it already and for many years, because the regular double CD set is sold-out at the moment.

Mit einem Ohr höre ich gerade im SWR2-Radio von einem Konzert im südwestdeutschen Raum, und schaue sofort nach, ob ich auch wirklich den Namen "Steve Schroyder" vernommen habe. Yep! Ich finde tatsächlich eine schon ein paar Monate alte Konzertankündigung:
"Anne Clark invites you to a very special event in this special birthday year! On Friday 11 June Anne and Steve Schroyder will collaborate once again to perform a "live" set at the legendary Cocoon Club in Frankfurt." (...und dann im Nov./Dez. auch irgendwo im SWR-Bereich).

Huch? Ist das womöglich & tatsächlich unser freundliche Steve Schroyder, der 1972 bei Ash Ra Tempel die Orgel spielte und auch mit uns in Bern war, um dort mit Tim Leary das Album "7 UP" aufzunehmen? Schön zu hören, dass es ihm offensichtlich gut geht und er immer noch professionell Musik macht, nun sogar mit einer recht bekannten Sängerin.
