There is a Italian ristorante around the corner with the name PACINI ...which is the name of a today nearly forgotten Italian composer.
I checked about him and now I have a CD with a 1967 concert recording of his opera SAFFO, composed in 1841 when GIOVANNI PACINI was 45 years old.
At least (or: only) two of his many operas are to find easily in the catalogues of the usual mail-orders. I promise a charming discovery for those who have already everything and a pleasant listening experience for those who love Bellini, Verdi and Donizetti.
