Nur ein Link.

There is some talk about our Klaus Schulze in a recent (from yesterday) podcast; and one of the four nice guys even seems to know a bit more about KS.
The topic "Klaus Schulze" is only for the first 16 minutes of the very long podcast. Otherwise: a lot of technical stuff.

Yes, the former 'Jeeves' site is now headed kdm, simply because most of the readers know me better & much longer as 'kdm', the old friend & companion of 'KS', ...the publisher of many of his titles, ...and producer of some music albums. Also, I will write now my contributions here as 'kdm'.
Technically, it is still "jeeves.blogger.de", this cannot be changed. Maybe I should have thought a few more minutes about the name, when I started the blog.
When I started this, it was a test, I was curious how weblogs work and if I can handle it. Yes, it was fun to try out such a weblog ...and I have used the first positively connoted foreign name that came to my mind: I had just finished watching for the third time all episodes of Jeeves & Wooster with Fry and Laurie. After 4½ blog years as 'Jeeves' it is time now to put my real name here on top and also under my articles and comments.
In my official KS website there is and there never was the possibility for the user and music listener to react promptly (Stan & Ollie would say "in a jiffy"), e.g. to make comments or to ask questions. Here you can do it. Still.

There is another interview with KS, this time in Portuguese. But there is also an English translation.

Just coming in, the front cover of the new concert set with the full Amsterdam concert on 20 September 2009, on two CDs ...and DVDs that contains also the whole two hours concert, and an additional "moogumentary 2" of 70 minutes. The release is still planned for September.

Aber, einen Augenblick mal...
Alle? Nein! Ein unbeugsamer Musikverleger hört nicht auf, dem Unsinn Widerstand zu leisten. Er steht nie im Stau, weil er seit Jahren bewusst kein Auto mehr hat; er hockt nicht vor dem Fernseher, weil er auch sowas schon lange nicht mehr hat; und zu Fertiggerichten (und billigen Weinen) hat er dieselbe Meinung wie Vincent: Die Verpackung ist wertvoller als der Inhalt. Und der Unbeugsame kocht (& brät & backt) natürlich selbst & gerne.

Eigentlich hab' ich mir nur das Kreuzworträtsel ausgedruckt (erscheint zwar erst morgen, aber wenn man in die www-Adresse der ZEIT anstatt der "25" die "26" eingibt, bekommt man es bereits heute). Egal.
Über was stolper' ich quasi nebenbei als alter Bob Dylan-Hörer? Über diesen Satz in der ZEIT:

"Bob Dylan trug auf dem Cover seines Albums Just like Tom ein grünes Hemd mit großen weißen Punkten."

Hä? So unsinnig wie unwichtig diese Mitteilung auch sein mag, ich hab auf jeden Fall noch nie von "seinem Album Just like Tom" gehört; hab' ich womöglich das neue Album verpasst?

Es gibt von Dylan den berühmten Titel "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues", der 1965 auf dem nicht minder berühmten und heute klassischen Album HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED erschien. Immerhin: das Album ist die Nummer 4 der "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". Auf dem auch nicht unbekannten Foto des Album-Covers von Daniel Kramer trägt Dylan unter einem glänzenden dunkelblauem Hemd mit farbigen Fantasiezeichnungen ein weißes Unterhemd mit einem "Triumph-Motorcycle"-Aufdruck; kein "grünes Hemd" und auch nix mit "großen weißen Punkten".

NS: Es gibt aber tatsächlich auch eine EP (irgendwann in irgendeinem Land erschienen) mit zwei aus dem HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED-Album ausgekoppelten je knapp 6 Minuten langen Titeln "Ballad of a Thin Man" und "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues". Auf dem Foto der Papierhülle dieser 17 cm-EP trägt Dylan so ein grün-weißes Hemd. Und dieses weithin unbekannte, fast ein halbes Jahrhundert alte Foto auf einer genau so alten längst vergessenen EP, das ist allen Ernstes ein Grund für DIE ZEIT, heute einen neuen Modetrend zu verkünden? ...und dabei den herbeifantasierten Beweis auch noch völlig ahnungsbefreit zu velwechsern?!
